This group has been working on a funded project to produce a Tapestry for Wirksworth, depicting some of the key scenes from the town's history - a bit like Bayeux but rather more modest.  Members work on individual sections, meeting together regularly to co-ordinate and finally assemble the tapestry. Although this project is due to finish in February 2026 ideas for future projects are under discussion and new members are still welcome.
