New Garden Group Coordinator sought from Autumn 2026 - message here if you are interested.
We are a fun and friendly group of garden enthusiasts, with a wide range of garden skills. Beginners welcome. We aim to meet the 1st Thursday of the month, 10-12, sometimes at a garden member's house. Group members have the opportunity to lead a session investigating and presenting a garden topic of their choice, but no obligation. We also organise group outings, with members choosing venues. Although we aim to meet on the first Thursday of the month, the day may have to be amended to suit venues.
For the past few years many garden group members have propagated and grown young veg plants, which have contributed towards the Wirksworth Aquabox Charity plant sale - The coordination of this by group member Hilary.
